Cottage Tähdikki details

The beautifully panelled room is suitable for two occupants (and a child) and is surrounded by idyllic red painted farm outbuildings and is itself part of one (2+ persons).

Amenities

• An open plan kitchen/living room. The kitchen has both a kettle and coffee maker besides normal kitchen amenities. The fridge with a freezer compartment and the microwave oven are in the corridor next to this room. The cleaning equipment is also there.
• In the kitchen/living room there are two beds, one 120 cm wide and the other 80 cm wide.
• There is also a TV and a free Wi-Fi (varying function).
• In the bathroom there is a WC, shower and a washing machine.

Talaanranta and its sauna

Talaanranta is the beach area of Tähdikki with its own sauna for two persons. It gets hot very quickly, because of its small size. The woodshed is just beside the sauna. Talaanranta is located 300 m away from Tähdikki along a scenic road called Talaantie and then a path called Talaanrannanpolku. The sauna has its own changing/ sitting room called Talaanaitta on the way from the sauna to the jetty. The door of the Talaanaitta room is the only door on that wall. The room is a part of a former threshing building, later boathouse called Talas (= boathouse in English) dating back to the 19th century. The room is separated from the other parts of the building.You can cook water there and even take a nap on the sofa. It is also nice to sit outside just by the lake looking at the water on the bench leaning to the wall of Talas.

Environment

The big green composter for organic waste is behind the fence on the right when entering Tähdikki Cottage. There is a hole in the fence closed with a rope which you open when visiting the composter. The waste centre containers for mixed, plastic, glass and metal waste are in the crossing of Liinarannantie and Tähtipihantie on the way to Tähdikki.
