Mökki Koivuisenranta
The cottage is an over 100 years old former granary building, which was also inhabited in the 20th century. It was moved some twenty years ago to Lamminkangas. Now it is already on its third site in Lamminkangas. The first site was only a temporary one. On the second site, it was covered with a roof and some windows were added. At that time the building served mostly as a warehouse. Then the inside of the cottage was insulated and panelled. It was important though to try to preserve the original atmosphere.
When you come to the cottage, you see first a fence-type part of the service building in front of you, and then you can see the gable of the cottage.
Bedroom located behind the first door when reaching the cottage. There are two beds next to each other, two chairs, a night table and a shelf. The larger window of the room has a great view over the lake (for two people).
The open kitchen/living room is located behind the second door of the cottage. There is a kitchenette (including hot water) with two electric plates , a refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, cupboard, dining table, chairs and an old-fashioned bunk bed with curtains (for 2 people).
The adjacent service building contains a room with an incinerating toilet and cleaning supplies.
At the other end of the building there is a covered summer shed with a table and benches. There is also a gas stove/table and a cupboard.
Koivuisenranta and sauna
It is only 30 m to the beach and there is a small sauna with a changing room and a woodshed/outdoor toilet. A table, a few chairs and a barbecue are located next to the sauna. Almost at the water’s edge, there is a garden swing. It is relaxing to sit watching the vivacious movement on the lake and receiving energy from the pure water.
The composter is at a nearby crossroads (Havulammen rantatie/Valonrannantie). There are separate containers for mixed waste, plastic, cardboard, glass and metal at Lamminkankaantie 193 right on the left as you drive into the premises. It is convenient to take the waste there when leaving, because it is by the road.
