Peace and quiet that a home office cannot provide
The main building at Lamminkangas is well equipped not only for accommodation but also for remote work. There is free Wi-Fi and two desks on different floors: one in Aakunkangas and another in Pihlaskangas, where there is also a small desk in the living room. In addition, there are two larger tables on the different floors that normally serve as dining tables. Both floors have their own kitchens and other amenities, as well as bedrooms. Other spaces, in addition to the private sauna, can also be made available as part of the main building.
The property is situated away from other habitation, allowing you to experience the peace of nature and an exceptional sense of silence. The main building at Lamminkangas stands on a hill where, on clear nights, the stars and the Milky Way can be seen particularly well.
The Lamminkangas sauna is located on the shore of Lake Havulampi, and ice swimming can also be arranged. In winter, the nearby Mäntyäikkä sauna is also available, with both a traditional wood-burning stove and a smoke sauna stove.
The 10-hectare Lamminkangas property offers plenty of opportunities for pleasant walks along various roads and a nature trail. Several of the buildings, which are part of the partly village-like setting, are more than 100 years old, and the atmosphere of the early 20th century has been carefully preserved. For the most part, however, the landscape feels wild and remote, with a character reminiscent of Lapland.
Autumn is often a particularly creative time, making it an ideal season to retreat here for writing or other artistic work. One author has already experienced this firsthand at Lamminkangas. The various old buildings also contribute to the inspiring and creative atmosphere.
In winter, there is usually plenty of snow. Groomed cross-country ski trails can also be found about two kilometres away.

Aakunkangas and Pihlaskangas are two separate floors of the same building. Each space has its own private entrance, kitchen, and toilet/shower facilities.
